4th of July

We enjoyed a cool(er) 4th of July in Prescott this year. We were super happy to miss the near 118 degrees hit over the weekend in the valley of the sun! Jay's sister and family recently moved back to Prescott from Wisconsin, which means cousins Billy's age who live close by! Hooray! It was so fun to see the little boys interacting, and I just imagine how much fun they are going to have together as they grow up. Konrad is 3 and Rodney is almost 2 (4 months younger than Billy). Even now, more than a week later, I still catch Billy saying, "Nah-nee, nah-nee" (Rodney). So sweet!

We went to the parade downtown, watched fireworks at Julie's house. ate good food, and swam. I'm ready to go back! :)

Swimming

Reagan is such a ham! She was cracking me up in these pictures. Of course, Billy hardly even looks at the camera anymore, so I never get both of them smiling together. Oh well. They had so much fun in their little kiddie pool. Billy played with bath toys and Reagan tried to eat said bath toys.

Memorial Day

Ah, Rocky Point, one of the (many) reasons we are so happy to be back in Arizona. We got pulled over just past the border (for speeding, which was a total crock), and ended up paying the cop $40. It still makes me mad thinking about it. Jay got sick, but luckily we were able to get him on some antibiotics before anybody else caught it. But we had a great time! The water was BEAUTIFUL! Billy loved it. Reagan liked kicking her feet in it. Jay wished we could have taken the boat out in it. It was so nice to relax, walk on the beach, and eat great food!

5 months old!

5 months! Wow. Reagan is a fun baby. She has a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She is a good sleeper (although we wish she would sleep past 5 am!) She has definitely discovered her hands and feet and loves toys. Last night in the bath I caught her sucking her big toe! She's a sweetheart.

This is THE coolest picture EVER! When I saw it, I could not stop laughing. I think it was 5 minutes before I could stop laughing long enough to show it to Jay, who about peed his pants. :)

Billy Boy

William is so much fun these days. He's getting much better with the whining and crying now that he is talking more. It's amazing to see what he learns everyday. And what he understands. It's crazy how quickly these little mush heads develop!

Billy is slightly obsessed with hats. There was a day last week when we wouldn't take it off. He even slept in it.

A couple of pics of the kiddos together. Billy doesn't like to look at the camera to have his picture taken anymore, so they aren't the best pics of him. Oh well.

William Buckley's 2nd Birthday!

William had an AWESOME birthday! Our families came from Prescott and the East Valley to celebrate with him. There was good food, yummy cake, great presents, and good times had by all (well, I can't speak for everyone, but Jay and I had a great time and appreciate everyone coming)! Billy was a crack up. We gave him presents throughout to keep him occupied because he wasn't too interested in dinner. He wasn't quite old enough to understand the pinata; we think he thought we wanted him to hurt his present! The best part was singing Happy Birthday. Billy was so surprised, and just kept looking around at everyone in amazement. We had to sing a couple of times. He got LOTS of great presents - Thanks everyone! Thanks for making it such a special, memorable day!
